Yep, here I am.
Though I have been called such, I am not a Domestic Goddess.
Goddesses are perfect.
Goddesses are insanely gorgeous.
Goddesses are tall.
I am none of those things.
What I am is fearless.
I will try anything in the kitchen, using “Well, how bad can this possible taste?” as my mantra.
I take on projects that are deemed “lost causes”…sometimes creating a treasure, sometimes creating more junk in my home.
I tell it like it is and have been called abrasive and “too honest”.
And every single Ex has said the same thing to me at one point in time or another…
“I really miss your cooking”.
I am a Domestic Badass and I’m here to stay.
I balance being a rocker girl and a glamour girl.
I love my high heels, but sitting right next to them are my Doc Marten’s.
I can appreciate a 5 star restaurant, but can also appreciate a Big Mac.
I take no prisoners and make no apologies for who I am.
And I’m here to teach you how to be more fearless, not only in the kitchen or with household projects, but in everyday life. Whether you’re buying a car or buying produce, you can be strong and fearless but still be feminine and have your sweet side. You can be empowered and still have fun. I hope this blog inspires you to shake off the preconceived notions you may have of yourself…
You know the ones. They usually start with, “I can’t”.
I’m here to tell you you can and I’m here to help you every step of the way.
There are enough Goddesses in the world…For all of us who failed to meet the Goddess standard, I challenge you to become something more…Badass!
Have fun and be fearless!
